Welcome to Kane, PA! EarthCam and the Kane Historic Preservation Society are bringing you live streaming views of the McCleery Wolf Sculpture. In 1921 local medical doctor E.H. McCleery saved an entire subspecies of Gray wolf from extinction and became considered the Father of the American Endangered Species Movement. The McCleery Wolf Center is housed in the historic depot which was built in approximately 1871 and was founded by Civil War General Thomas L. Kane. Viewers can also see the New Thomson House which was built in 1907 and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
